Pool Schedule for Summer 2010

Registrations for Swim Lessons at the Summer Activities Fair on Saturday, May 1 from 9:00 am - 12 pm at the Eagle County Community Center. Other registrations will be at the pool after opening on May 30.

Pool Fees
Daily - Child (3 - 7) $4,
Student (8 - 17) $5, Adult (18 - 64) $6, Toddler (3 and under) - Free, Senior (65 +)$3
20 punch cards - Child $60, Student $80, Adult $100, Senior $40, Lap Swim only $70
Season pass - Child $80, Student $100, Adult $120, Family (5) $325, Senior $60

Only valid during the season purchased.

Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an actively participating guardian or parent.

Don't forget to bring sunscreen.

Reminders:

  • No floatation devices except noodles and kickboards during open swim
  • No snorkels allowed during open swim
    Proper bathing attire must be worn

 

Baby Pool
June 2 - July 31: Friday, Saturday,& Sunday 11 am - 5 pm
Monday through Thursday 12 pm - 5 pm
August 1 - Sept. 1: Everyday 11AM - 5 pm

Holiday Pool Schedule

Memorial Weekend 11am - 12 pm Lap Swim only
12 pm - 6 pm open swim
Closed Saturday for graduation
Fourth of July 11am - 12 pm Lap Swim only
12 pm - 4 pm open swim
Labor Day Weekend

Recreational Swim Team

Dates: TBA
8 am – 9 am-Tuesday & Thursday, 9:30 am - 11 am -Saturday
Recreational Meet TBA
$75 per swimmer (includes fees for Recreational Swim Meet). 3 or more from the same family is $65 each. Call the recreation department if you would like to apply for a scholarship.

Mom/Dad & Tot Class

A class to help mom or dad help young swimmers orient to the water. The same skills will be taught in each session
Ages 2 and under
Session I - Fridays, June 18 & 25
Session II - Fridays, July 16 & 23
Time: 10:30 - 11 am
Cost: $20 per session

  

Swim Lessons

Please register at the times listed below. Mail in registrations will not be accepted. Thank you for your cooperation.

Time 6 + years *3 - 5 years
10:00-10:30 **Level 1-6

Water Orientation
10:45 - 11:15 ***Level 1-4

11:30 12:00 ***Level 1-4 Water Orientation

*If your 3-5 year old has above average swimming skills, please let us know at sign up so that we can place them in the appropriate class.
**Level 5 and above (must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted).

***Beginner, level 4 or below.

As recommended by the Red Cross, maximum class size will be 10 students per instructor. Average class size will be 3-6 students. Maximum water orientation class (ages 3-5) will be 5 students per instructor.

Swim Lessons-Please sign up at the Activities Fair May 1, 9 am - 12 pm

2-week sessions on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday (Rain out make up days on Thursday)

All classes are $35

Session I - June 7 - 17
Session II - June 21 - July 1
Session III - July 5 - 15
Session IV - July 19 - 29

Swimming lesson at 10 am for session 2 and 3 for levels 1-6 are closed for Camp Chip-a-tooth only.

Swimming lesson at 10:45 am for session 3 for levels 1-6 are closed for Camp only.

Please sign up for group lessons at the sign up sessions below or at the pool from 12 - 5 pm after it opens for the season ONLY.

Mail in registrations will not be accepted!

Sign up Dates:
Summer Activities Fair - Saturday, May 1 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Eagle County Community Center in El Jebel.

All other swimming lessons must sign up at the pool from 12 - 5 pm after the pool open for the season on May 30.

No refunds for swimming lessons unless an injury prevents swimming or sickness with a doctor’s note.
