This is a relaxed class and you will finish a small beaded bag with fringe and handle. Beginners will focus on learning the 2-drop Peyote stitch and fringe work. Intermediate beaders will explore design options and work with size 11 beads. We will complete the bag in this class, so the last class may run longer so you can finish your piece. Scratch is a new programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web.
Scratch is designed to help young people (ages 8 and up) develop 21st century learning skills. As they create Scratch projects, young people learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the process of design.

He is offering a one week beginner class for middle school students, four hours per day from 10am till 2pm , beginning June 16 th, at the Access Roaring Fork Studio in El Jebel. An intermediate class may be scheduled later on in the summer if there is sufficient demand.
